... vom Bahnhof zum FEST Fussweg man kann einen sehr schönen Weg an der Alb entlang in die Günther Klotz Anlage laufen. (ca. 2,7km ~ 40min) Man kommt aus dem HBF raus und geht sofort nach links an den Taxen vorbei durch die Victor-Gollancz-Strasse. Nach ca. 250 m überquert Ihr die Schwarzwaldstrasse (links eine Unterführung) und geht durch den "Albtalbahnhof". Dort dann nach ca. 100m links an den Schrebergärten linker Hand vorbei. 300m später gehts über eine Fussgängerampel (links eine Unterführung, schräg rechts eine kleine Staustufe) in die Anfänge der Günther-Klotz-Anlage. Dann lauft Ihr die ganze Zeit an der Alb entlang und trefft genau auf das FEST. In der statischen Karte (PDF) ist der Fussweg übrigens farbig hervorgehoben.

Tipp: lauft einfach der Masse nach! Strassenbahn Wer nicht laufen möchte, nimmt am besten die Tram 2 . Diese fährt vom Bahnhofsvorplatz zur Welfenstrasse (Richtung Kaiserplatz). Von dort sind es ca. 600m Richtung Europahalle / zum FEST.
Anreise mit dem Nahverkehr: Extra-Bahnen zum "Fest" 2008 im 10-Minuten-Takt
[...] Da Parkplätze rund um die "Klotze" Mangelware sind, empfehlen die Veranstalter dringend die Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Die Verkehrsbetriebe Karlsruhe sind für den Großandrang gerüstet und setzen zusätzliche Straßenbahnen ein. Die Haltestelle "Europahalle" auf der Linie 1 liegt nur 250 Meter von der Hauptbühne entfernt, so dass die Besucher von der Tram direkt aufs Festgelände gehen können. Auf der Linie 1 wird der Straßenbahnverkehr an allen drei "Fest"-Abenden bis gegen 0.45 Uhr auf einen Zehn-Minuten-Takt verdichtet. Außerdem fahren von 17 bis gegen 21 Uhr zusätzliche Bahnen vom Mühlburger Tor bis zur Europahalle. Nach Veranstaltungsende stehen an der Europahalle an allen drei Abenden Reservewagen für die Rückfahrt Richtung Innenstadt bereit. Gerade für Besucher aus dem Umland sind auch die Anreisemöglichkeiten mit der Straßenbahnlinie 2 vom Hauptbahnhof zur Haltestelle "Welfenstraße" interessant. Wer mit den Regionalbahnen oder Stadtbahnen am Hauptbahnhof und am Albtalbahnhof ankommt, hat alle zehn Minuten Anschluss mit der Linie 2 zur Welfenstraße.
Von dort ist das "Fest"-Gelände in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar."
